Afternoon Mystery Reader
Thursdays 2:45-3:00 p.m.

Each week we have a Mystery Reader come to our class! Mystery Readers are usually a mom or a dad who has a child in the class. Sometimes a relative comes instead of a parent. This is a surprise visit; the child has no idea who the mystery reader is. It is wonderful to see a child's face light up when s/he sees his/her mom or dad come into the classroom.

If you volunteer to be a Mystery Reader please bring in one or two of your child's favourite picture books to read to the class.

I have found that the above times work best because by then we are finished tidying up from our activities. Please go directly to the office and they will buzz me in the classroom to let me know that our Mystery Reader has arrived. I will send the Special Person of the day to pick the reader up.
