Thank you to all the parents who contributed to our Tombolas for Springfest. Our class was one of the top contributors and each child received a ring pop. Way to go!
Thank you for remembering to bring in your Pizza money (for Lunch-on-the-Lawn June 29) and forms, as well as $15.00 for the Graduation T-shirt (SKs only), and $10.00 for the Artist coming May 30th.
Aside from our usual Phonics Duotang and Journal work, the children have been working on a fish tank art project and made caterpillars. Our real Painted Lady caterpillar larvae have changed into chrysalids and the children helped me transfer them to their new home where they will develop into butterflies.
Thank you to this week's Parent Volunteers: Siri's mom and Charlie's mom were Mystery Readers, Reading Club was done by Griffin's mom and Jamie's mom, and white bags and snuggle books were done by Jamie's mom and Charlie's mom. Thank you!
The children behaved very well during our surprise Fire Drill. Well done!
As the weather gets warmer please remember to put sunscreen on your children and to provide them with hats for outdoor play.
