It's hard to believe the school year is coming to an end and that in September our little JKs will be moving on to SK and the SKs will be going into Grade One! Over the last two weeks we have learned about the letter sounds oo and y, finished our Canadian Coin Values unit, learned about the concept of 5, played "The Tens Race" game, and met with our Reading Buddies! The afternoon buddies made wonderful stories the children about them which they took home. Many of the SKs have finished Set 6 (of 7) of their Phonics booklets and the JKs have almost finished their Phonics duotangs as well. Great work! Please remember to return Library Books, Snuggle Books and the laminated Alphabet/Phonics folders. Thank you.
