Hello families
This week the children completed winter-themed activity sheets and prepared for our Sharing Assembly by practising the poem "Five Little Snowmen". They did an excellent job at the assembly! We are also working on the letter sound "O" and on correctly writing our numbers 1-20.
Thank you very much to the parent volunteers who helped us this week: Cole's mom and David's mom helped with Reading Club, our Mystery Readers were Sarah's grandmother and Daniel's dad, and bag help and snuggle books were done by Alexandra's mom and Griffin's mom. Thank you so much.
The afternoon class had a wonderful time skating on Thursday! Thank you to all my parents who helped with laces. The kids had a great time!
I am sending the SK phonics books home this weekend so that the children can complete some pages at home.
Please let the office know if your child will be missing school for any length of time (i.e. extended March Break). I can send your child home with his/her daily journal to write in during their holiday which they can share with the class when they return!
